"Passion, Faith on people, Self-confidence"

On our very first day at Harvard, a very wise Professor quoted Aristotle: 'The law is reason, free from passion.' Well, no offense to Aristotle, but in my three years at Harvard I have come to find that passion is a key ingredient to the study and practice of law -- and of life.

It is with passion, courage of conviction, and strong sense of self that we take our next steps into the world, remembering that first impressions are not always correct. You must always have faith in people. And most importantly, you must always have faith in yourself

當我們第一天進哈佛法學院，一位英明的教授引用亞里斯多德的名言：「法律是遠離激情的理性。」無意冒犯亞里斯多德，但經歷了我在哈佛的三年歲月，我意識到「激情」乃是學習和實習法律的重要元素，也是生活的要素。

就因為有激情，有堅持信念的勇氣，再加上堅定的自我意識，促使我們踏足世界，並謹記第一印象未必是正確的。你必須對人們有信心，而且最重要的，永遠要對自己抱有信心。
